Land for Solar & Wind Farms We understand the specific
parameters required for a site to be compatible
with PV or wind projects, the attitude of most
land-owners, and current market conditions in
typical lease agreements. Securing land for PV or
Wind projects is quite complex. Many aspects must
be considered (technical, economic, legal,
administrative, project output, grid connection,
geographical, terrain, etc.) before actually
launching the site (land) search. The site (land) search is
also complex, and time consuming. Identifying
compatible plots and their owners is a first step
(which is time consuming). The final and most
challenging step is to negotiate the terms of the
lease contract and getting it signed at the
notary. Once the lease contract
(called "Contract de Superficie" in Romania) is
signed at the Notary, our job is done. EPS does not
get involved in project development /
implementation. EPS works on a "success
fee" basis: a fixed amount per/Ha for projects
under 50 MW, and a different (lower) fee per/MW for
projects of 50 MW or more. A list of the projects EPS
has reallized since January 2024 to the present
(August 2025) is available on the "About

this website. EPS can sometimes propose
projects in different stages of development:
Greenfield (Lease contract signed), ATR obtained
(grid connection authorisation), RTB (construction
